St. Patrick's Day at the Navy Pier

My thinking was, when St. Patrick's Day arrives, temperatures would be warmer. But unlike last year's event, when people were wearing t-shirts, shorts and skirts to watch the parade, this St. Patrick's Day was at freezing temperatures. I know it should not be as warm, but freezing temperatures at this point in time is just ridiculous...

So, I decided to hit the celebration at the Navy Pier where it's indoors and where it's warm. (The Neighborhoods of the World - India was also happening upstairs so it was a two-for-one event for me. My photos of the India event are found here.)

The dancers were really graceful and performed admirably. But what brought the house down were the small kids. There were a lot of viewers and all of us were greatly entertained.

Hopefully, next year's St. Patty's Day will be warmer than this one's. And also, I am hoping that we start getting warmer weather here. I think we deserve it now...
