I don't mind the cold of winter. But having winter temperatures without even an inch of snow seems, to me, ridiculous... So, I was so glad when the very first measurable snow of this winter came!
I missed snow so much that I didn't mind the numbness that my fingers felt while I was taking these shots. Oh, and it seemed that the sub-freezing temps were too much for most tourists and even some locals as well: there were not a lot of people in Millenium Park and even the buses were not as full during the rush hour period. Well, I don't blame them. It's not fun to be outside when the temperature's at 11F with a real-feel of -5F... (Though today, luckily, while I was taking these photos, the temp was at a "mild" 22F...)
There were only a handful of people enjoying the ice skating rink... |

Anyway, I'm just happy that we had some measurable snow. Though I am not hoping for the more-than-a-foot kind...
