Princeton Communiversity 2011

The Princeton Communiversity Festival of the Arts happened last April 30, 2011. Artists and merchants from around the area were present in the event and thousands of people from neighboring places descended into our quiet little town.

It was a gorgeous day - sunny but with a cool, gentle breeze. There were plenty of food to buy and music to listen to. There were also plenty of merchants that showcased their wares.

Unfortunately, this would be the last Communiversity for the wife and I so I made great effort to document it.

I also took a video of a blue grass band, Edna's Kin, which performed the Iron Man theme. I certainly wouldn't want to pass that up! It was the first time I used the Canon 5D Mark II to cover an event. I didn't even realize right away that the camera wasn't on focus! Also, after some time, the camera started to feel really heavy. Now I know why videographers have a lot of gear to support their cameras.

The wife (@pinayobserver) herself took plenty of photos.

I will miss this town and I will especially miss the Communiversity.

Update: I just found out the name of the blue grass band that performed the Iron Man song. Link to their facebook page was added above.
